Selling my beautiful almost all original Arizona 1979 Mercury Zephyr Z-7. 76,500 original Box A miles!! 302 auto. Power Windows, cruise control, original AM radio. Tilt wheel. Original wire hubcaps, New tires, newer battery. Recently converted A/C system to R134 and works beautifully. Car runs great, looks great, drives great and draws lots of attention. Windows are dark tint to help screen the bright Arizona sun, but easily removed if wanting to. Seats are near perfect with no tears or rips, Everything works as should, including the cruise control, power windows, radio, etc. Issues known with the car are as follows. has a broken corner out of the trim under the tail lamps. (See Photo) Has a slight dent outward on the hood where someone closed the hood with the prop rod in the wrong spot (See Photo). The back driver's lower body side trim has a small tear in it. (See Photo) Couple of the wheel well moldings have very minor dents in them. Leaks a little oil from the pan. Vinyl top in the front is in very nice shape, the back one is a little dry with a couple minor splits. That is all I can really think of at this moment. Please remember it is a 34 year old car and is not perfect. But it is the best original example that I have ever seen! Please feel free to email me any questions you may have. On Sep-11-12 at 17:46:14 PDT, seller added the following information: I am getting questions on if the underside is undercoated. It is not. It is bare white metal with no undercoating or rust proofing on it. AM Radio works great. Both power windows work great, horn works, cruise control works, tires are brand new. All lenses are good with no cracks or breaks. Grille is perfect. I would not hesitate to hop in and drive this anywhere, including California, and Missouri which has been asked.
