The problem occurs when you try to accelerate then the engine sputters and stalls. It feels as if there is not enough gas going to the motor. I had an independent service station diagnose it and they had said that it may be a mass air flow sensor issue. We no longer needed the vehicle so that is why I never had it repaired. As I am not sure of the problem and what repairs will be required I am selling it AS-IS. Hope this helps. On Sep-14-12 at 06:14:09 PDT, seller added the following information: Update on condition of vehicle: A potential buyer had a mechanic exam the car and this is what he found. After installing a fresh battery this Mercedes impressively started right up idled and then stalled. He put the car in gear and moved it a few feet forward and reverse. Without taking the Mercedes back to his shop he could not come up with a exact diagnose on the engine. The Check Engine, SRS, BAS, ABS light are on and he seems to thing that because the car has not been used that the BCM (Body Control Module $150 on eBay) may either need to be replaced or re-programed. The sunroof does not open and the regulator cable for the right rear door window is broken. The front tires will also need to be replaced. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE !!! remember although this Mercedes is clean and looks great it will need to be repaired. I offer NO type of warranty or guaranty and it is being sold AS-IS.
