Hello, I am selling my 1974 VW Thing Convertible. We bought the car down in Florida in February of 2008. Since purchasing the car we have had it completely frame off restoration with Dodge Viper Red paint purchased from Dodge (over $10,500 in paint alone) inside and out, with black underbody, and bumpers. 34,135 original miles, brand new tires <100 miles, new seats front and rear, new white top, and new floor pans. This car has been completely overhauled top to bottom, and left to right with all top of the line parts and work. This is a show car, but it is also 100% reliable car and is a great one to take the kids/grandkids out in on the weekend. This car has won too many shows to name since we had the work done and has even been featured in Hot VWs. Shipping is responsible by the buyer or can deliver within 800 miles of St Louis, Mo at $0.40/mile round trip.
