On Sep-07-12 at 16:09:54 PDT, seller added the following information: On Sep-10-12 at 18:52:01 PDT, seller added the following information: I have had a few questions about the suspension, so here is an update. The front axle is a vintage I-beam, with the original spindles, fitted with new bushings, king pins and grease fittings. The front "behind the axle" cross spring is actually a rear CJ2 Jeep spring with 2 leaves removed, rebushed for the I-beam axle spring mounts, and 50/50 shocks. All 4 of the "hairpins" or radius rods, are custom with heim joint end bearings. At the rear are coil-over shocks with a Panhard rod to keep the rear axle centered. The rear end has the proper pinion angle, to assist with long universal joint life at the drive shaft. Also there is a drive shaft "loop" for safety, and a custom rear mount on the transmission to dampen its movement. In addition there is a rubber mounted "mid mount" plate between the engine and transmission, as well as rubber mounted side engine mounts. On Sep-12-12 at 05:57:25 PDT, seller added the following information: I have been asked about the engine. It is a 1968 230 c.i. from a Camaro. The engine had @ 60K on it when it was pulled. It is a stock engine except for the headers I fabricated, and the Offy intake. The 3 Carter BC carbs have been rebuilt, and have new air cleaners, the center carb retains its choke and idle circuit. The two outboard carbs have had their choke assemblies removed, and the idle circuits, and vacuum ports blocked. I have been running the car with both the outboard carbs blocked off, and their fuel lines plugged. I have a selection of main jets that go with the car, and in an afternoon of rejetting the carbs down you can get it working on all 3. The linkage would be set up to begin opening the outboard carbs after the center carb is 40% open. I will include all the carb parts, and documentation, exploded views, on the carbs. The stock vacuum advance ignition works well, the engine fires right up, and idles @ 650 rpm after it is warmed up a bit. Of course it runs on regular gas, with 8.5:1 compression, I think. These engines made @ 120 hp/3500 rpm and 200 ft/lbs tq at 1400 rpm.
