This is a beautiful 1956 Buick that I have owned since 1981. It was customized in 1999. The modifications include installing a 1957 Buick roof and trunk lid. This required extending the quarter panels by the tail lights 3-1/2". Other modifications were installing a 1957 Buick grille and seats. The door handles have been shaved and all trim removed from hood and trunk (nosed and decked). The paint is satin white on upper portion and PPG Rose Quartz on the lower portion. Cool 50's pinstriping was done on the white. The only thing this car needs is a headliner installed. There is also a small rip in the driver's side botton. Flame throwers are installed in the exhaust pipes. It has Smithy mufflers that sound great. It has a modern AM/FM radio with CD player. The 322 Buick engine runs smooth and quiet and the dynaflow transmission runs great too. This car has power brakes and power steering and both work well. This car can be driven anywhere. It runs down the road like any modern car. The tires are Diamond Back radial wide whites. This car is a real head turner and gets many compliments.
