Vehicle Detail
This listing is for a 1975 Ford F-250 Crew Cab. Has a 390 with a 4-speed manual, divorced transfer. Currently has a 1979 Dana 44 front axle 4.10 gears. I do, however still have the original Dana 60-Closed knuckle, drum brake, hydo-assist steering setup. The front axle is roll-able, but brakes and shocks need connected. The 44 is a high pinion, so the exhaust slightly interferes with the path of the front driveline. The power steering valve is still on the truck, but the ram is not on the 44, so it's armstrong steering right now. I can easily swap the original axle back under and make it driveable, I was using it every day. The power steering will need fixed, it is intermittent. Now for the truck: Hardly any rust whatsoever on it, except the back bottom corner of both front fenders (I have decent replacements). Cab and floorboards are solid, frame and running gear are solid. A few minor nicks and dings, and one dent in top of cab (easily popped out, but its under the headache rack) Paint is faded. Wheels are as pictured, tires are 70% or so. Interior is in good shape, seats were recovered not long ago and front has a protective seat cover on it. Dash has a couple cracks under the cover. Steering wheel kinda fell apart in the middle (see pics), Headliner is coming down in one spot-see pics. Flatbed is a bit rusty here and there, but very heavy duty. Has a gooseneck hitch and massive hitch on back. 2 sets of wood racks, one set short sides, and the ones pictured. Motor runs perfect, drips no oil, hasn't burned any since I've owned it. (2000 or so miles). Less than 500 miles on complete clutch set. Runs/Shifts/Drives (with a finished axle) very well for an older truck, dual exhaust with glass packs. This one is perfect to restore, interior is nearly done, just needs some body work and paint. Windshield and gasket are cracked up, but I have both brand new replacements for the right price. I also have a few random parts for this truck. Brand new grille and inserts, decent front fenders, a 1979 power steering gear, and nearly everything you would need to put a 7.3 IDI diesel and 5-speed ZF into it. I have a completely rebuilt 7.3 IDI long block, a 5-speed ZF, 1356 transfer, All the parts for AC, Cruise, etc. out of a '90 Ford diesel. All the individual parts/pieces are for sale locally, but feel free to call for pricing and availability. Great project truck or daily driver, I just don't have the time. Call with questions (208) 791-7557. I can deliver up to 150 miles for a fee. On Sep-06-12 at 14:29:15 PDT, seller added the following information: Update: This truck does not have A/C. It had a factory installed system that was removed when the 390 was put in. The only remaining part of the A/C is the vent in the dash. I will also be putting the original Dana 60 back into it before the auction end, so it will be a fully functional rig (minus reliable power steering). Reserve is $3500 for the truck. I am not interested in selling for less at this time (more would be just fine).
