Up for sale is an excellent 1984 Isuzu P'up Diesel, Automatic 2 wheel drive DLX Model with the most desired diesel engine ever produced - the Isuzu C223 2.2L Diesel engine. This rare find only has 69,000 miles - it was used by an elderly man on his equestrian farm in central Florida and in his own words - he barely drove other than riding his property and to the feed store on occasion. Please watch the following video of the truck - cranking and a walkaround This rare P'up is in excellent overall condition. The motor has just turned 69,000 on the odometer. It has the ultra reliable Isuzu 2.2 Diesel that has been known to give over 500,000 miles of service. What other truck can you get that will give mid 30 to high 30 mpgs? This truck is the definition of a grandpaw owned and babied truck - this is a true survivor - I have not waxed or detailed this truck. I am pointing out every dent, scratch, surface rust area, etc.....I have nothing to hide. As you can see from the pictures and the video the body is straight and almost entirely rust free - except for the minor areas noted in the pictures and video - the secondary bed wall having rust at the very bottom is worst area on the whole truck. The frame is in great shape and only exhibits surface rust / scale - absolutely no rust thru. The interior is in above average condition with only one small chipped area on the otherwise uncracked dash, moderate wear on the drivers seat side - that will need to be repaired or covered, very minimal wear on the passenger seat. The glass is all clean - crack free glass - and has the sliding rear window. Sound comes from the original Isuzu AM / FM radio and is adequate. Power Steering works as it should with no leaks. 3 speed Automatic transmission shifts thru all forward gears an reverse as it should. Truck does not have have A/C. Engine has great power for a 4 cyl diesel, idles smoothly and does not have blowby. Injection Pump does not leak. Glow plug system works properly as it should from the factory. This truck goes straight down the road smooth as silk - riding on a matching set of 205 70 R14 tires. This truck has had no modifications. None of the wiring has been tampered with. I think the tail gate has been repainted but matches the factory color perfectly. There are several dents on the cab roof - all appear that they could be pulled out by dent wizard type repair. The front chrome bumper has a slight dent on the passenger side. The chrome grille has a 2" space that is missing by the drivers side headlight but does not effect the integrity of the grille. This truck is ready to serve somebody well for many years to come. It would be an excellent candidate for a full restoration as there is nothing wrong with it at all other than a few minor cosmetic issues that I have mentioned as well as photographed and videoed.
