I am the second owner of this 2008 Mini. I have owned it for almost 4 years. I have had a lot of fun with it. It is very fast and agile with the sport suspension and stability control. It is also very good in the winter with the traction control feature. I have all the maintenance records. Minis are very dependable and a lot of fun but they are notorious for 2 problems: the timing chain and the turbocharger wear out about the time the 50,000 mile warranty expires. Mini is well aware of the problem but has not issued a recall so owners are left with the problem. Before listing my Mini I had both the timing chain ($2000.00) and the Turbocharger ($2500) replaced. Now the thing is scarey how fast it is and how perfectly it runs. Photos are fine but this car has been meticulously maintained and may not be new but you'd have to look pretty closely to determine that. Besides the matched tires which are close to new there is a pair of snows also close to new. After my last speeding ticket I decided it was time to change my image. I purchased a Chevy Volt and I am in a new world but will always remember what a true sports car my Mini was.
