Vehicle Detail

Hi there, I have a sweet 1957 Ford Fairlane 2dr Hard Top Coupe with a 312 V8 motor for sale. This car belonged to a friend of mines Dad who had been a Ford mechanic for over 30 years. He completely rebuilt this car mechanically from top to bottom, motor , transmission, rear end, exhaust, etc. He also had the car re-painted its original colors of red and black, including the interior dash. There has not been a final buff on the paint job. No rust issues. The previous owner was waiting to get a new interior in it before he did the final buff. Unfortunately he passed away before he could finish it. This car runs, drives and shifts out the very best, but it does need a complete interior, there is not a stitch of fabric inside the car, the seat springs are all in tact and present, the headliner bows and the metal door trim pieces are in the car for both the front two doors as well as the metal top trim that goes on the top of the sides in the back seat. Door panels will have to be found or made for the car. It has a brand new set of 5 Firestone 3" white wall tires that are historically correct for the car when he came out in 1957 (a matching mounted spare is in the trunk) I was told the tires alone cost $245.00 each. The family said that the fellow spent over $15k dollars doing what restoration he did to the car and I don't doubt it. This could be a very very nice show car or a fun Main Street Cruiser without much effort or expense. The expensive part of its restoration has been done. "Peggy Sue" is definite head turner and is a awesome piece of American motoring history. These 1950's American Graffiti street gems are slipping away like the rest of our American culture and are harder and harder to find at a price a everyday person can afford. Heres a rare opportunity to own one of the most popular vintage, antique automobiles from a classic time period. LOW RESERVE Thanks for looking!
