BEAUTIFUL 1982 Mercedes Benz 300TD-T turbo diesel. California car, rust free , LOW miles. This classic beauty is in exceptional condition and is ready to be driven anywhere! Please read the description below and take a look at the 70+ photos, as they will truly tell the rest of the story..... This is a very nice wagon. Originally purchased at the “House of Imports” in Buena Park , Ca this wagon has resided in California it’s entire life. It has always been well cared for, which is very apparent by it’s amazing appearance and wonderful driving performance. The RUST FREE body is perfectly straight… there are no noticeable dents or dings. The paint was very nicely refinished in it's original color and is nearly flawless. The undercarriage is clean... notice even the jackpoints still look great and have not a hint of rust. The moldings, trim etc are all nice as well. The rims are like new... there is not much to critique on the exterior of this car except for a tiny chip on the windshield. There is also a very inconspicuous 3" long dent on the lower portion of the rear bumper. It is very difficult to detect, except upon close inspection. The beautiful black interior is outstanding as well… it is hard to believe when you are inside this car that it is 30 years old. Particularly impressive is the carpeting… even after all these years it still looks wonderful... notice I did not use any floor mats in the photos to hide what might be underneath. The carpet is clean and not faded, it must be the german quality! The seats are excellent as well. The front seats were covered in sheepskin for many years, which is very evident. You will not find a single hole or tear in the upholstery. It does not look like anyone ever even sat in the backseats. The headliner is clean, no holes or tears. The wood trim is beautiful and glossy. Even the window switches hardly show any wear. The engine compartment is exceptionally clean and dry and has NO LEAKS! The undercarriage is clean. Mechanically, this Mercedes Benz 300TD runs and drives great! It cruises down the highway at 75MPH effortlessly. The engine starts right up, idles and runs smooth and has great power.!!! The transmission shifts sure, timely and properly. Oil pressure is perfect and the engine temperature is always where it should be... I would not hesitate to drive this car across the country tomorrow. All accessories and controls function… including the power windows, door locks, power sunroof power antenna, gauges, etc. The air conditioning works well and blow ice cold! This is a solid car that will serve it's new owner for years to come. I could go on and on... but the 70+ photos below will tell the story better than I can. Please give them a minute or so to load.
