Vehicle Detail

This is a 1923 Buick series 55 5 passenger touring car. It has a 242 cubic inch 6 cylinder engine with ohv and electric start, Car has a 124 inch wheelbase, 2 wheel mechanical brakes, weighs 3300 lbs and cost $1645.00 new with 12,587 built. This car is coming out of several years of unoperated storage. We have drained the old stinky gas, installed a 6 volt electric pump with a fuel regulator, and rebuilt the carb. It runs like a 1923 Buick, hard to believe it has been driven 49,000 miles. The body is great, no rust, very solid and straight. The paint is fair, shines good has several nicks. The interior is nice, new seats door panels and carpet. All electrical seems to work except clock and gas guage. Top is good. Tires are holding air but should be replaced. Options; a pair of red lights mounted on front bumper, huge pedestal spot light on drivers running board, also big brass horn on same running board, the sun visor may be original, has 2 nice wind wings along with a trunk and 2 rear mounted spares. Rumor was it was owned by a doctot who liked to make speedy house calls. Overall an impressive example of a bi-gone era vehicle. Georgia has no titles on pre 1963 vehicles, you will receive a current Ga registration which can be converted to a title in your state. This is a big and impressive car and has a very reasonable reserve. This car is NOT from the DeFoor estate. In 2006 my good friend and Chevy collector, R.C.DeFoor left us. One of his last requests was for each family member to have one of his collection. Fourteen cars were kept. In 2007 I had the privilege to conduct the auction of the remaining 70 cars. This year, none of the 14 cars the family kept had been started or moved, since 2007, the decision was made to keep only 6 and have the others used and enjoyed by collectors. I was contacted, all cars were evaluated, gathered and relocated to my building in Macon, Georgia. All cars now have new batteries, have been started and have brakes. None have been driven, so assume there will be some long term storage issues to address. The cars included in this offering are; 1929 Ford Model A 4 dr restored, 1938 Chevy 4 dr very nice, 1948 Chevy 2dr Fleetline Aerosedan really nice, 1949 Chevy 4dr Fleetline DeLuxe with 19k miles, 1951 Chevy 2dr with 12k miles , 1955 Chevy 4dr Bel Air loaded with options including factory air, 1956 GMC pick up with a fresh body off restoration, 1978 Cadillac Seville 19k miles 100% original, plus a 1923 Buick series 55 4dr touring car. I may be contacted through E-bay mail, by phone @ 478-808-6067, by direct E mail 425farms@att.net … Thanks Bill Bonbrake
