Shortly after installing a new turbo, the engine threw a rod. I was tempted to put a new engine into this car and get some more years of service out of it but I've decided to leave that to somebody else now. Read more about the incident leading to this decision at TDI Club: http://forums.tdiclub.com/showthread.php?t=248915 While the car has never had an accident or any major issues, there are some cosmetic issues with the car:Scuff on rear bumper cover on driver side (somebody bumped it in the parking lot one day)Lower grille panel on passenger side is missingOne of the little chrome strips on the grille is missingSmall area (roughly quarter sized) near front passenger tire that appears to be rust bubbles under the paintWindshield has a large crackAside from those issues, if you have an engine to put in to this car or if you want to part it out, there's probably some functional value left. As the vehicle is not running, you will need to tow it from Indianapolis.
