1958 hillman minx convertible. Restore or use for parts. I purchased this 22 years ago. It had no engine. I replaced it with a great running 58 minx engine. It runs and drives in first and second . I never hooked up reverse 3 and 4th. I rebuilt both master cylinders, clutch slave cylinder and all of the wheel cylinders. (18 years ago) I used to limber the car up every year. Yard drive it all summer long. It has been in off site storage for a few years and needs to be appreciated regularly. The hydraulics are fine, It shifts and stops, although the brakes could use a bleeding. The interior is just ok, usable with light use, the only seat tear is the top of the rear seat back. Interior is red. Side and door panels are ok. All glass is great. Windows crank well.All the lights, horn, window wiper motor work. It has lots of rust as these often do. Trunk is ok spare wheel well good Side body lowers- plenty of rust. front floors holes. Rear floors good. Top material shot. Top bows great. Again, great running engine. Needs a battery. No exhaust. These are great little cars. Not enough of them out there. Again, as many say- too many projects. I wish I had finished this one. Three of the tires hold air, the other loses it overnight. They are all dry rotted. The rears are wide white Gulf snow tires. Car pretty complete.
