1985 DODGE SHELBY CHARGER 2.2L Turbocharged 4Cly Engine 5 Speed Transmission ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- PLEASE READ ALL LISTING INFO & CHECK THE PHOTOS BEFORE BIDDING ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This rare 1985 Shelby Charger has been in our family since early 1992. It has been sitting up and not started or driven in maybe 8 or 9 years. My grown son left it with me when he moved to another state. I always thought I might restore it to new condition, but bad health set in, and I was never able to get around to it. Now I'm too old and tired to ever get it done. So we have decided to let someone else enjoy it. This would be a fun project to restore. It's not a lot of money and these vehicles can be a "blast" to drive !! Up and running, these are very quick little Hot Rods. They will turn in better drag strip times than a lot of V8s. Check it out online... You might be shocked !!! It's been sitting so long I'm not sure what it may need to get it up and running. I do know that it need's a battery, battery cables, a heater control valve, the two little clips that lock the shift rods to the transmission, a driver's door glass, and fresh gas, coolant/anti-freeze, oil & filter, etc. The body is in good solid condition for the year model and the interior is origional and nice for a 1985 model. It was running and shifting just fine when we parked it in the yard. But that's been a long time ago! The original color was black and silver. The paint was getting faded and thin, so it was painted with the only color we had at the time... white. The odometer shows 51,348, but I'm sure it has 151,348 miles on it --- YES It does have a good, clear Arkansas Title --- THIS IS A NO RESERVE AUCTION, HIGH BIDDER OWNS IT !!!
