This is a 1954 Trimuph TR2 parts car. I bought the car in 1975 with the intention of restoring it, and I did drive it from where I bought it to my apartment about 5 miles. About 2 years later after getting married I had the body taken off and completely restored with new floor pans, battery box, and so on, cost $3000 in 1977 dollars. All the rusted out areas were replaced with new sheet metal. I started restoring the frame from the back forward. Scraped, wire brushed and sanded then painted with Rustoleum fish oil primer and an overcoat of Rustoleum black paint. Many other parts received the same treatment. Also, new still in package front end rebuild kit i.e. springs, shocks, bushings etc., new rear shocks. Got up to the transmission mount and stopped. The front apron is missing, just the sheetmetal, have all the components. It has always been in a dry garage.Thirty two years and 3 kids later and it's just not gonna happen. I need the money and space. Buyer to pick it up and take it away, I'm not parting it out.
