this is a 2001 dodge 2500 ext cab in the SLT pkg. it is equipped with the 5.9 cummins turbo diesel engine and the automatic transmission. options include pwr windows, pwr locks, pwr mirrors, tilt steering wheel, cruise control,air conditioning,(does not work), cassette am/fm stereo , an after market brake controller for a trailer, and a factory receiver hitch. the tires are in great shape, at least 70% tread left. the truck starts right up with a turn of the key and sounds perfect. it runs down the road as straight as you would want and goes thru the gears perfect. the bad parts are: cracked exhaust manifold(see pics) the a/c compressor is bad and noisey, a bad gasket in the top of the fuel tank that will spill some out if you put it more than 3/4 full, and a dent scratch in left bed side. i am listing this for a friend of mine that has owned it for the past 4 years. it has not been used much the past 6 months or so. before that it was his daily driver rarely using it to tow. there is not a hitch in the bed nor do i see a sign of there ever being one. i will tell you that i just got done cleaning the outside of this truck and it looks better in the pictures than it really is. this is an 11 year old black truck. yes it has scratches and some chips and the dent in the left bedside. it is in need of a good buffing to take care of alot of it but it will not take care of all of the scracthes. the interior if the truck is good. maybe it could use a little shampooing on the carpets. a couple of small cracks in the dash but not major(see pics) if you have any questions give me a call 417 839 5031 this truck will sell to the highest bidder and they will end up with a very nice truck for many many miles to come and get wonderful fuel mileage too.
