1984 Pininfarina Azzura Spider VIN: ZFRAS00B9E5504559 43,258 Original Miles Automatic Transmission Factory power windows and A/C Red exterior Tan leather interior This 1984 Pininfarina Azzura Spider 2000 is fun to drive and has low, original miles. I bought this vehicle last Summer and it has been sitting in my garage until recently. Exterior The Exterior of this convertible is in good condition. It has been repainted many years ago. The re-paint has no orange peel but does have minor scuffs and scratches as found in most older pre-owned vehicles. There are small bubbles appearing on both sides of the vehicle under the paint (above the chrome trim bar) in the fenders, base of doors, wheel well arches, and quarter panels. All chrome is in good condition. There is no rust in the chrome bumper tubes below the rubber bumpers. The glass is in very nice shape although there is a very small area of slight fogging in the lower part of the windshield on the driver’s side. The driver’s side outside rear-view mirror can be found in the trunk and must be re-installed. The four original Chromodora wheels are in very nice shape as is the steel spare. There are flat spots on the tires and significant tread wear. I would not suggest driving this vehicle any distance with these tires, to be safe. The tan top is in very good condition, almost like new. The tonneau cover is in good condition and could also use a good cleaning. Mechanical This vehicle starts up on the first turn of the key and the engine runs well. There is a new battery, air filter, oil filter, spark plugs, ignition wires, and fuel filter. The pre-fuel pump filter was replaced not too long ago as were the rear brake calipers. The battery light is illuminated in the dash gauge and there is a slight noise coming from the alternator. With this, I am assuming the alternator may need to be replaced. This vehicle shifts well through all gears with no issues. The brakes are very, very soft but do function. Interior The interior is in good condition however it could use a good cleaning. There are a few cracks in the dash top. The leather seats are in good condition with no rips or tears. The door panels are in nice condition but the bottom of each panel (toward the front) is warped and slightly tattered. The carpet is in good condition but the floor pieces in front of both seats are missing. Conclusion Overall, this 1984 Pininfarina Azzura Spider would make a wonderful vehicle for someone to enjoy as a daily driver. This vehicle has been accurately described to the best of my experience and ability. Even though this vehicle looks very appealing, it is a 27-year-old car and needs a little work.
