1980 INDY TRANS AM Restored for my Wife a few years ago but the car is way too fast so it is sitting collecting dust. Hate to sell after all of the money invested but just need a another family car. The car has been sitting so when we started her she would only go into all of the gears but reverse so I had another transmission put in. I have all of the receipts for the paint, decals, interrior, carpet, battery, etc. When the tranny was replaced I had found out that the headers on her are racing headers so I had to special order from a high performance race shop. The engine numbers read as fallows: Top end, HIGH PERFORMANCE OLDS 554 by the mid two intakes on blue block L73 on front of engine passenger side 5 57265 4B CF (LI) or D then 4A front driver side 554717 Mid intake any help on this engine much appreciated. We had to buy a parts car for odds and ends like back seat ash trays, moldings, little things like that and then sold the parts car for more than what we paid. All I know is that it is way too fast for Her or for us to give to our 18 year old Son. I traded our BMW 750 for her from a racing mechanic...
