Vehicle Detail

I purchased this car in 2006 as father/son project. Due to other interests we never really got project started. Now 3 kids in college at same time makes this a good time to pass this project on to someone else. New gas tank included with car. Body and interior is in great shape but not perfect. I purchased car with big block engine and C6 transmission but removed them since they were not in good shape. The title is a bonded title because previous owner had the car incorrectly titled as a 1970. So I applied for the title based on the VIN stamped in the subframe under the front fenders and recieved bonded title as a 1969 Sportsroof. I have Marti Report. You will need to get new VIN plate for dash. Original Marti Report Specs: VIN# 9F02H116372,1969, Built at Dearborn, Sportsroof, 351-2V,Silver Jade Paint,Black Bucket Seats, New Orleans district,3.00 standard axle,FMX transmission. Now this car has 9 inch 3:50 posi rear end, red/black paint, hood scoop, rear window slats,B&M quicksilver shifter, grant steering wheel, front disc brakes. On Jul-25-12 at 07:25:04 PDT, seller added the following information: You will need to get a new VIN plate for the dash from the DMV in your state. I have the correct data plate for the door and the correct VIN # is stamped in the subframe under the fenders. You should be able to download the form from the DMV in your state. Then mail it in with copies of the title and registration. Then they will send you a new VIN tag. I have not done it before, but that is what I read on the MS DMV website. On Jul-25-12 at 20:31:03 PDT, seller added the following information: I added more pictures that show: Paint chips on top edge of driver's side and passenger side doors near the mirror. Small rust under the paint on on the left and right sides of the trunk lid. Imperfect fit of the rear quarter panel extensions in the back. I replaced these and the rear taillight panel recently and did not finish getting the extensions to fit the quarter panels perfectly. There are some dark spots on the fenders. It seems to be under the paint. It is not real noticeable but it is there. The rear bumper and valence have not been put back on the car but I have them as shown in the pics. I have a "new in the box" gas tank and hardware ready to go back in through the trunk. The wheels are old style 14" cragars. I show several pictures of the underside of the car (torque boxes, etc) that show the metal is very good. Driveshaft is also included with the car as well as support braces and arms for engine compartment. Let me know if you want to see anything else and I can take a picture for you and put it up. This is a great car to finish as most of the body and interior is in good shape and needs very little. On Jul-27-12 at 17:38:09 PDT, seller added the following information: The interior is in good condition with only minor wear and tear in some areas. Headliner and carpet is in great shape as are the seats. Vehicle is sold as-is. But you can call me at 601-606-1866 or send me a message if you have any questions. I will answer all questions as promptly as possible. Happy Bidding and I look forward to helping someone load this nice car up on their trailer soon. You will not regret this purchase. If you need help with delivery we can discuss that too. Thanks, George
