Looking to fulfill a life long dream of owning a Italian roadster? This is a daily driver that is going to be hard to part with but finances forces sale. I purchased this car from a chauffer out of Chicago who got it from one of his employers. I believe the millage is accurate due to over all condition. The seats look brand new(replaced) and the top is in great shape too. Interior of top needs a little work but no holes or cracks. The body pans are good but the rockers need replacing. A few small spots developing but over all in restorable shape. Front lower valance has dent and needs replacing as well as spare tire well but not too bad. Small crack 5" on far right side window not in view of passenger or driver - I have personally driven car 500 miles with no problems. I have driven car on freeway at speeds over 80 no problems. Car barely uses oil and engine does not smoke or leak a lot of fluids. a small nickel spot is all I've noticed.r Only mechanical things needing attention is fan motor(could be fuse haven't checked yet) and front shocks or tie rods- noise coming from.. Drives straight and engine and clutch strong. Front pads may need replacing just beginning to make noise- high pitched squeel not grinding though- one out of five stops.. The clutch and main engine seal were replaced in 04 - receipts show. Besides what was mentioned above EVERYTHING works! Also has an Alpine detachable face cassette player with remote. The crack in windshield is actually more like ten inches and there is a slight syncros delay between first and second gear. It drives great still-keeps up with traffic fine, you just can't quick shift- these Alfas aren't fast race cars anyways- they sound like an Italian roadster should with a little growl everyone covets however the 2 liter dual cam engine isn't a speedster- more like a touring roadster. Also, previous owner used wire to hang rear muffler which snapped today near home- I will either find correct muffler hanger or re-wire better in the next day or so. Also, at 50-80 miles per hour there is a little vibration which I believe is caused by alignment issue or tire imbalance. No big deal and again very slight. I only mention these things because I am honest. If there is something I haven't mentioned it is because the vehicle is rather new to me- had a month.. I drive this car every day. No problems and so much fun! On Jul-20-12 at 08:30:06 PDT, seller added the following information: Ok, I crawled under to find rubber muffler hanger broke no big deal- bolts that hold hanger part great condition so fix will require part (cheap I'm sure) and a ratchet and a squirt of wd40 and 1/2 hour. I temporarily used metal wire to hang for now, will look for part on ebay.. Also will include new oil filter, oil pretty clean but will need change by next season. On Jul-20-12 at 09:43:50 PDT, seller added the following information: Muffler hanger ordered- should be here in a few days-will install when arrives. On Jul-24-12 at 11:30:44 PDT, seller added the following information: Muffler part arrived yesterday took out temporary hanger and hung correctly- took an hour, no charge.Have broken part to show. Muffler and exhaust looks brand new not a speck of rust.
