Okay, lets be clear here... If you don't want a Ranchero, haven't talked it over with the wife, are unsure about your finances....please....don't mosey around these parts. I've listed this twice and both times the high bidder found reasons they couldn't contact me for over a week, then had some reasons why they can't follow through. I got this car to fix up cause it was low miles and the body is great. The hood and top paint are dulling but really the rust is minimal and the engines just ready to run. It needs a gas tank and some restoration, times are tough and I need to move where there is better work so I can't put time in this or take it with me. PLEASE>.... don't bid if you aren't positive you want this car. Project or parts car. When I first got the car I put a distributor and carb kit in it and drove it around the road and up to the store. I've been finishing college and the car has sat up for less than a year. I would say that the engine runs strong and transmission shifts smooth. Problem is the gas tank has a pin hole and needs replaced. Currently the filler neck has been removed and is in the bed. With leaking gas tank, car will need to be towed or transported. Will help with any arrangements once car is paid for. Replaced distributor, rebuilt carburetor 80,530 original miles, all original, with factory A/C Front tires have slow leak, may need replaced or bead cleaned and remounted. Needs carpet replaced, windshield is cracked, needs new windshield wipers, battery, and some minor rust repair. Some rust in bed and around rear window. Picture shows the worst of the rust holes in the bed, there are a couple more but not excessive. Body in excellent shape for age. Interior needs some work, dash is cracked, seat torn, missing radio. Front metal bumper panel needs repaired or replaced, but original is in the bed of car. Great car to fix up or to use for parts. Car is dirty in pics, but you can see how shiny the thing still is even under a layer of dirt. Due to the age of the car, selling As-Is. I have described it to the best of my knowledge. Should make a great car for someone. It's a shame to let her go, but I'm planning to move and can't take it with me. Thanks for looking, feel free to ask me about it.
