Vehicle Detail
Selling my daily driver F100. This truck is cool! ENGINE- H.O. 302 from a 93 Mustang. Roller cam and lifters. Car had 90,000 miles when the motor was pulled but I dont think this motor has 90,000 miles on it. I pulled it completely apart and inspected it. Cylinder walls still had the honing marks on them. Bearings looked good. I replaced every seal and gasket from top to bottom as I re-assembled it. I installed a new SUMMIT brand intake and SUMMIT 600 cfm carb. It has a brand new SUMMIT HEI style distributor. Long tube headers lead in to an H-pipe that leads in to dual FLOWMASTER 40 series mufflers that dump the exhaust right before the 9 inch. Brand new plugs and wires. Fresh coolant and oil. Runs cool and has great oil pressure. This motor doesnt burn oil, smoke, or make any funny sounds. Its solid! TRANSMISSION- Ford AOD 4 speed auto pulled from an 84 F150. This tranny has about 4,000 miles on a full rebuild. I installed a B&M shift kit recently. It shifts great and gives this truck a very nice freeway gear. SHIFTER- Lokar long neck floor shifter. Very high quality Lokar TV cable for transmission. Brand new MOONEYES half sweep tach. Just needs hooked up. GM 1 wire alternator All lights work. Gauges all work(except the amp gauge). Glass is good with no cracks. The bed is in good shape. Tailgate and head board of the bed are not bowed or out of shape as most old trucks are. Shortened driveshaft with replaced joints. Brakes were all rebuilt about a year and a half ago. (4 wheel drums) New American Racing Torque Thrusts wrapped in BF Goodrich Radial T/A's Newly installed carpet and floor mats Rust in floors was patched and covered in POR 15 before installing sound deadner then carpet. New cab mounts New airplane style lap belts New mirriors and interior door handles and cranks(one is off in one of the pictures. It is back on now.) The truck does have some rust in the core support, cab corners, and a few other small areas but is overall a solid truck as you can see in the pictures. This truck runs and drives strong! I was driving it every day to work and back (40 Miles) and it cruises down the road at 75 doing around 2200 RPM. It gets around 17 MPG on the highway. I love this truck and hate to sell but I have the chance to buy an old car back that I dont want to miss. It has the normal old truck squeaks and rattles but it is a fun truck to drive and gets a lot of attention. Extra parts that I have with this truck: full power disc brake conversion full power steering conversion 4 speed steering column(no shift collar) original deluxe steering wheel with chrome horn ring(black in color) extra set of V8 coils from a 302 truck extra shocks extra drivers vent window steering linkage from a 76 Plates on the truck are from Oklahoma but the truck is currently in Kansas about 20 minutes outside of Dodge City.On Jul-20-12 at 09:38:50 PDT, seller added the following information: I reserve the right to end this auction early. On Jul-22-12 at 09:19:51 PDT, seller added the following information: I have been asked several questions about the truck over the last couple of days. I would like to answer a few of them for everyone. 1- The wiring in this truck is original. Everything works but it is the stock wiring harness. 2- The rust in the floors was cut out and patched by the previous owner. The patch work is what I would consider to be driver quality. When I got the truck, I ensured that all the welds were sealed and applied POR 15 to the floor boards. The floors are solid now but if you are planning on doing a restoration, I would put new floor pans in for cosmetic reasons. The front cab mounts are new. 3- The motor is solid and tight. Like I said in the description, it runs great and has no mechanical issues. There is one very small header leak on the passenger side that could be fixed with some thicker copper header gaskets. Like I said, its a SMALL leak. Please feel free to contact me with any other questions. On Jul-25-12 at 05:25:21 PDT, seller added the following information: 12 hours left! Watchers cant be winners.
