Vehicle Detail

This 1956 Ford Customline was purchased by my husband in 1965 and I drove it for my last year of college. Since I commuted 60 miles a day, I could leave home, put it on 90mph and be parked and sitting in class in an hour. Loved that car. Drove it for the next five years and it had about 84,000 miles on it. My husband, never able to sell anything he had worked on, then parked it. When we purchased it, it was green. But he two toned it yellow and orange with large fire-like symbols on both front fenders. When my nephew was in high school he decided he wanted to learn how to fix a car up. So they began the process going as far as even taking the engine out. But he lost interest and my husband by then was working on a little MGB as he had completed a 1929 Studebaker. So what you see is a picture of a rather forlorn and abandoned ’56 Ford that was once beautiful and purred at 90mph. Note all the original parts that are there. Lots of rust. Lots of good stuff. If I could restore it, I would. So many wonderful memories. The drum breaks were recently loosened up to allow someone to get the car onto a trailer easier. Also the frame is not bent at all it is just low tire pressure making it look that way. The engine was dismantled down to the heads and the remaining parts were put in the back seat when my husband was working on it. This would be a nice parts car or the beginning of a wonderful restoration. Can’t find the title….looked everywhere but have the Vin number. Called a 1956 Ford Customline. U6PG113209. What you see is what you get. Can send more pictures. I wish I could identify everything, but I am not a mechanic like my husband was. So feel free to ask anything and will try to get the answer to you right away. Thank you. Paypal $150 deposit required immediately after sale Cashiers check or Cash at pickup.
