You are viewing our 1965 Ford Mustang, though not restored it does run well and is a solid foundation to be a daily driver while in the restoration process. This auction has NO RESERVE, high bid takes it home. If winning bidder is in Southern California, Nevada or Arizona, I can assist with delivery. Mustang lovers- I will be listing all of my unrestored Mustangs including a 1966 Fastback, 1969 Mach 1 and several 65-70 Coupes. Anybody wishing to take them all in a package deal please let me know and I will send pics. Please take the time to view the detailed pictures, I am very thorough when shooting and describing a vehicle and make every effort to catch as much detail as possible! DETAILS: Trim tag reads: 65A P 29 16B 1 2 6 Cosmetically, the body of this Mustang is decent, not perfect, but no major body repairs are needed, please see the detailed pics- I see where the passenger door and fender had pinched together at one time, there is a scrape on pass fender with previous body work showing thru and a palm size dent on the drivers 1/4 panel (see pics). This Mustang appears to have had 1 repaint many years ago and it is now faded, chipped and scratched. This is a solid high desert car but I do see very small repairable rust bubbles developing over the passenger rear wheel (see pic). The floors, trunk and undercarriage are very solid and very clean. The front bumper will need to be straightened. Windshield has 2 BB chips, all other glass is clean and clear. Weather stripping on both doors needs replaced. Gas cap emblem is sun cracked. Original Black plates are on the car and come with it. All VIN and trim tags are intact and on the car. I have also just bought brand new tires for the car, have receipt and warranty. The interior is all there, factory original and complete. The car has been stored inside so the two tone Pony interior actually looks pretty decent, but not perfect as it is faded and has a seam split on the drivers seat. Everything works as it should, all lights, guages, turn signals etc. Original owners manual is in the glove box. Mechanically, this Mustang has the original 200 inline 6 cylinder engine with automatic transmission. This car starts right up without hesitation, trans shifts smooth and I would not have an issue driving this car anywhere. Tires and front brake wheel cylinders are BRAND NEW and the car handles very well. The car was previously stored since 1999 so it wouldn't hurt to do normal maintenance. Since bringing it out of storage we have had the fuel system flushed and brand new gas tank and Holley carburetor installed. I have in hand and in my name the clean and clear California title/ownership certificate on this Mustang. If the car stays registered here in California it is currently on a non-op with DMV, so there are no back fees due. I will continue to have the car stored indoors until buyer arrives or we deliver it. We are located in Moreno Valley, California 92551 (Southern California) near March Air Base.
