This is a 1970 Toyota Landcruiser. I purchased this two years ago and have put a lot of money and work into it. I bought it to turn it into my dream off road vehicle but unfortunately the real world has hit me and I have to part with it. I haven't even gotten the chance to take it off-road. The previous owner kept it garaged and I did too until around 6 months ago when I moved to a new place without a garage. Due to this, it is almost entirely rust free. There have been many upgrades to the vehicle which include: -Edelbrock performance 350 crate motor. It was installed at around 100,000 miles in 1996 along with a muncie 4 speed transmission. -This motor includes Edelbrock Performer Carburetor (just cleaned and rebuilt with all new gaskets, fuel filter, and brand new air filter), Edelbrock Performer intake, 4-1 performance headers, short exhaust that exits in front of rear tires, all top end engine gaskets from the head gasket up have been recently replaced as well, the valves were just professionally adjusted and a tune up of the carb and timing was done. This motor runs strong! -Hurst Competition Plus shifter -Off road bucket seats have been custom fit -Custom gauge cluster -Six point roll cage -Two inch suspension lift with Rancho RS 5000 shock absorbers -BRAND NEW TIRES - These are the top of the line 33x12.5x15 BFGoodrich Mud Terrain T/A KM2 tires! They have less than 10 miles on them and still have every single one of the little fuzzy ticklers that come on new tires. The tires are mounted on very nice 15" chrome wheels. -The body and frame don't have any serious rust and are both straight. -Comes with soft doors that convert to half doors -Has a soft top and bikini top Basically the only thing I hadn't gotten too was the cosmetics and a couple other minor things. -I had intended to build a fiberglass cover around the shifter, as the previous owner's sheet-metal work is a bit shoddy, and then Rhino-line the interior. -The yellow paint is cracking and chipping off in places. -The four wheel drive shifter was removed when the engine was put in so it has to be done manually under the car (it would be VERY easy to put a new shifter on, I just didn't have time.) -The stitching on the soft top is coming apart in places and has a minor tear but keeps the weather out really well. -The transmission has a slow leak. The engine has zero leaks. None of these things affect the vehicle in any significant way. Whether you buy it to four wheel and off road as I had planned, or put a little money into cosmetics and have a beautiful classic, this is a very strong platform to build off of!
