Vehicle Detail

I have owned this vehicle for a little over a month now. I took it as a part of a trade for a motorcyle I had. Im not sure how long he owned it before me.It is a true cobra from everything I can tell. It has the front bumper and side skirts along with the dash gauges and brake calipers. In the dash it also has some tags stating it is a Cobra. The title says Cobra also. You can pull the cap off the valve covers and also see the ford stamps on the rocker arms. You can tell this vehicle was set up running boost. It has fuel pressure gauge and boost gauge on the dash and it still has a crank pulley on it. I assume they must have pulled all the high dollar stuff off the top and put a carb back on it. The battery is located in the trunk. It has a home made hood scoop that is an overkill to me. You can see stress cracks in it and it weighs a ton. I believe they added the top to it with bondo because it is so heavy. It has been repainted and is a decent job. There are spots of white primer that are on areas of the black trim around the windows. The odometer says 74,000 miles but the speedometer does not work. I am not sure of the actual miles but looking at the drivers seat I am sure it is in the 100,000+ area. The front windows were not tinted when I got it but the back was. I have already paid to have all the windows tinted and the back is all that the company lacks to finish. I will have it done at the first of the week. They tinted the sides and put a strip on the front while they pulled the tint off the back. They ran out of time so I have to take it back at the first of the week. I also have changed the oil and had the alternator rebuilt. the battery light is on in the dash and the guy at the alternator shop says he will have to go back and swap a regulator out so the light will go off. He should have this done this week. I have been driving it back and forth to work and it runs out good. The air conditioner blows cold also. The dash light where the gauges are does not come on at night. Not sure why this is. I believe I have a blinker bulb also because the left blinker blinks fast and normally this means a bulb is blown. All the other lights I believe are fine. The marker lights in the side of the bumper are missing along with the emblem that goes on the trunk. The driver seat has a couple of holes in it all the other are fine. The exhaust is a set of glasspacks that turn down over the rear axle. They are not the best sounding and I would prefer flowmasters. The rims that are on it are off a 96 cobra. It has one small chip in the windshield but will be an easy fix.The rearview mirror was removed when they tinted the windows and I left it off because it has a crack in it. The door panels are decent but they have screw in them in several place. I would recommend replacing the black part as that is the part with the screws in it. The locks on the outside of the door are gold and were painted over. Some of the paint is off and you can see the gold. The door locks have also been replaced with bullet looking locks. For the most part it starts easily without mashing the gas. However some times you do have to pat the gas to get it to start. This is common on anything with a carb. These cars come with a GT40 engine from the factory. One more thing with the description. It looks like it is blowing oil from the valve covers a little. I believe it is blowing mainly when you stomp the gas. I forgot also the passenger fog light is missing. I AM RELISTING DUE TO EBAY PULLING MY LISTING. AUTOCHECK SHOWS THIS CAR HAS A WATER DAMAGE TITLE. I HAD IT LISTED AS A CLEAR TITLE. I WAS UNAWARE OF THIS. I HAVE THE TITLE IN MY HAND AND IT IS REGISTERED WITH A TAG AND INSURANCE IN MY NAME. I ASSUME EVERYTHING IS OK TO REGISTER ANY WHERE AS IT SHOWS THE DAMAGE WAS 5/20/1996 AND I HAD NO PROBLEM WHEN I GOT MY TAG. ANY QUESTIONS FEEL FREE TO ASK I also entertain any trades. I would prefer 4 cylinder turbo but no front wheel drives. I do like anything hot rod or rat rod but prefer daily drivers. I TRY TO LIST AN OVERVIEW AND GIVE A GOOD INSPECTION. I DO EXPECT THE SAME IF YOU HAVE A TRADE. > It still has the electric fuel pump in the tank. It has a fuel pressure regulator set up under the hood so you can run the carb. Just adding a little bit of info.
