1984 VW Diesel 1VWAG0170EV100747 Arizona License # AKK6470 1.6 L Diesel, 5 Speed 296,931 (Odometer does not work) Up for auction is this 1984 VW Rabbit Diesel. 1.6L Diesel Engine, 5 Speed Transmission, Factory Air Conditioning (not working) California car now residing in Arizona. Engine runs very well and starts up immediately in cool weather. Clear Arizona title. Mechanical: Engine and Transmission are1.6L and 5 Speed. I do not know if this is the original engine or how many miles are on it. Transmission shifts fine. New Head Gasket, Timing Belt, Water Pump. Recent service (Fluids and Filters). Tires are fair. Windshield Washer Reservoir is missing. Under hood insulation is missing. Battery is 1 year old. . Exterior: Original color was Green, repaint is Zoletone Gray. Does not look to have been in any major accidents. New Windshield. Look closely at the pictures, I have tried to show any flaws in the body or interior. Has good spare tire, Wheels are missing hubcaps. Stock bumpers have been removed and replaced with steel channel bumpers. I towed this car behind my motor Home. Interior: Front seats are blue, rear seat is red but removed and in storage (more room for my dogs to play), no headliner. Front door panels are Masonite, no rear panels. Dash has cracks. Original Carpet has been cleaned but shows wear. AM/FM Radio Radio, 4 speakers. Air Conditioner does not work, I do not know what is wrong with it, all the major parts are there, but I do not plan on fixing it. The Bad This car is 28 years old and shows it, it is a very good transportation vehicle but will never be a show car. It shakes, raddles, leaks air around the doors but drives right down the road. Some of the gauges do not work . This is a very solid and good running transportation driver that will get over 45 MPG.
