I have owned 8 BMWs and 5 of them have been M3s (1995, 1997, 1998, 2002, and this one). The E36 M3s are by far my favorite. They represent the perfect combination of performance, speed and of course the stick-to-the-road handling. This M3 is one of the last. BMW ceased production of the E36 M3 Coupes in late 1998 (this one has a 12/98 production date) and they ceased production of the convertible E36 M3 in early 1999, so this is truly one of the last ones made. And it is gorgeous. The car is finished in Titanium Silver Metallic (aka TiAg). The paint on the car is thick and virtually scratch-free. The interior is one of the best features. This M3 has black powered M Vader seats. The leather on them is still soft and there are no cuts, rips, or tears in the leather. I love this car and if you look at the pictures, I am sure you will too. This is a rare chance to own a piece of BMW history for a reasonable price. Also there are 2 bubble spots on the deck lid and one on the hood. I got an estimate to fix it for $250 but thought I'd rather let the new owner decide what to do and keep the car in all-original condition. The 5-speed transmission shifts flawlessly, the car never overheats and it performed amazingly in the 105 degree weather we had here last week.
