Vehicle Description: 1998 BMW M-Roadster. Silver/Gray w/Black Leather and UNDER 66K miles! Has power top, heated seats, tinted windows, power M-seats, and much more. The BMW M-Roadster drives like a go kart and is very fun to take out for summer drives! THIS CAR WILL BE A COLLECTORS VEHICLE! DO NOT MISS OUT ON THIS OPPORTUNITY! M Roadster . The interior is in great shape. Full power, heated seat, mirrors. All gauges, and components work well. Front right window is a bit slow, radio/cassette in dash (original) the CD player needs an insert, which is located in the trunk, for security. (not researched} Exterior is in good shape. Top is original, and in good shape. Does need a new zip out rear window, priced at $300. It also needs rear window seal (my limited research, it popped up for around $75.00) Please be aware. The front left window is a bit slow, operational. Smoke free car, lighter has been misplaced/missing. Front right lower/bumper does have a crack, this car has NOT been in an accident, rather hit on curb. See pictures. The BMW has a maintance light, or check engine light, which is on (not researched) FYI 0-60 5.5 seconds! M Roadster Engine 3.2L 240 hp I6 Horsepower 240 @ 6000 RPM Torque (lb-ft) 236 @ 3800 RPM. 5-Speed Manual. Air Conditioning, Power Windows, Power Door Locks, Leather, Power Seats, and Mirrors. Am/Fm, Cassette Stereo, w/CD Player. Airbags Driver Passenger< ABS Brakes. The BMW M Roadster was designed to be the performance car! The body of the M Roadster has many slight differences, from the Z3. These include front and rear bumpers, gills, rear wings, boot and mirrors. Under the skin many of the components were beefed up with many of them taken from the E30 M3 and E36 M3 Evo including brakes and much of the suspension. Based on the E36 platform, the Z3 Roadster was considered the E36/7 platform. The M Roadster could run a wider track under the flared wheel arches as well as wider wheels and tires to try to tame the increased power. Standard tire sizes for the M Roadster is 225/45r17 at the front and 245/40r17 at the back. The low offset of the rear wheels allows plenty of flexibility to increase the rear tire width. A dual exhaust system fed each set of three cylinders to two dual tailpipes. This quad exhaust has since BMW M division signature. Other changes includes limited slip differential, a different gearbox and strengthening the chassis. The interior has the standard M-version steering wheel and including different instrumentation such as an oil temperature gauge. M-specific colors which were not released for the regular Z3, at least in the early production years (not counting BMWs Individual program). Features ABS as standard. 0-60 5.5 seconds! This vehicle has just under 66k miles. All original, NO MODIFICATIONS I-6 GERMAN MADE motor. This car sold for for $64,000.00 brand new, and is priced to sell, even including rear window, & seal, AWSOME DEAL! ALL KNOWN DEFECTS STATED. On Jul-09-12 at 07:27:27 PDT, seller added the following information: There is also a small ding on the right side door, caused by a shopping cart or a car door at the grocery store. There is no creases in the ding. Should be able to be popped out easily.
