Up for auction with no reserve price a former fleet utility vehicle 1999 Ford F-250 factory installed dedicate CNG (runs only on compress natural gas) this truck was previously own by the city of Dallas, now as a second owner it has been sitting down in my driveway for some time and need to sell it. IMPORTANT!!!! It appeared that this truck was involved in a collision from previous owner and had the left frame (driver side) straightened and welded together in some spots. As a result the steering shaft left inner tie rod makes contact and rubs against the frame when steering wheel turns all the way to the right only. However, truck is 100% drivable as contact takes place when steering wheel is at its max to the right otherwise contact can be avoided if not at max. (see close up picture for this issue) Not a salvage title, title is clear on my name. I believed this issue can be fixed further more so it will drive properly but I don't have the means to do it. This truck is equipped with a third optional underbody tank that increases the volume of CNG to 18.9 gge and the range of 250 - 300 miles with the optional tank. Tanks rated for 3600 psi. In some states the cng gge (gasoline gallon equivalent) price is less than $1.00 with other tax and local incentives. At $1.00 or less a gge you can fill it up with less than $20 bucks, more than 60% percent savings in fuel. This truck will pay for itself in a short period of time. Does not smoke, no oil or fluid leaks and no engine light “ON” Low mileage for cng vehicles 129K miles 5.4 L triton, automatic transmission Body- There is not much to say about the body. I think the pictures speak for themselves. It shows very light hail damage on the hood as far as I can tell hardly noticeable, Overall in great shape frame and underbody is rust free other than the bed, few scratches here and there normal for a 12 year old vehicle. It does have towing package. Note: Does not have a spare tire, but it does have the factory jack under the seat. Interior- Clean interior, a/c does not work and don’t have the expertise to fix it, but system appears to have refrigerant in it. factory radio.
