Plymouth still had the only four-wheel hydraulic brakes among its major competitors. For 1935 the Plymouth had a stronger chassis with a revised suspension that improved the ride and handling, plus safer, more streamlined bodies without old-fashioned wooden substructures. With all this, Plymouth sales topped 350,000 units for 1935. Of the 16 body styles available there were only 29,942 of the PJ Business Six 2-Door Sedans sold, with a base price of $535. VEHICLE CONDITION: We do a mechanical and cosmetic inspection to each vehicle before listing it for sale. Most vehicles are driven by me and our mechanic to assist with the inspection. Although driven by us, it is no indication that the vehicle is ready for a long distance trip. We typically will put less than 30 miles on a vehicle during the inspection process. This report is included below will provide a reasonable description of the vehicle condition. Older vehicles are subject to normal wear and tear and we have tried to indicate the overall condition of the vehicle to the best of our ability. But, we can not always find everything that is not perfect with a vehicle, so independent inspections are welcome and encouraged. The only guarantee with an old vehicle is that something will fail given enough time. INSPECTION REPORT: Year 1935 Make Plymouth Model Business Six “PJ” Ext. Color Tan/Brown Int.
