So-Cal Speed Shop Sacramento So-Cal Speed Shop Sacramento Feel free to call with any questions. 1-877-467-3871 So-Cal Sacramento is proud to offer this 1956 Ford F100 Pickup. This fun little pickup is ready for a new home. It is running driving and registered in California. We have a clear title on hand and the truck is available for worldwide shipment. The truck's body is fairly straight especially for a vintage truck that were typically used and abused back in the day. The body panels are all original Henry Ford steel. The bed is very clean with straight panels and doesn't look like it was used very much for hauling. I have been over and under this truck and while it has some surface rust and paint bubbles here and there I could find no evidence of rust through/rot-out. The pearl white paint looks good from a few feet away but upon close inspection it does have some issues. There are a few runs and some chips here and there (please see detailed photos below). Overall this is a fairly clean body for a driver and it does not rattle excessively when driving down the road like most old trucks you will find. The interior is clean and very presentable although it is need of a headliner. While you can see in the pictures it not longer mint it still retains much of its charm and shows evidence that this has been well cared for over the years. The radio in the photos is not a complete radio, rather just the faceplate and knobs to keep it original looking. The 460ci Ford Big Block engine fires right up and idles smooth. The beefy V8 is backed by a newly rebuilt and installed C4 Ford 3 speed automatic transmission. The trany has less than 50 miles on it. The truck runs and drives with good of power and it does not overheat, even in our 100 degree Sacramento weather. It has been driven on the freeway and has no trouble maintaining freeway speeds. Some engine bay items of note include; Edelbrock aluminum intake manifold, Edelbrock carburetor, chrome valve covers, chrome alternator, Taylor Pro spark plug wires, custom velocity stack with K&N type filter element, chrome coil, and electric cooling fan. The truck handles very well. The suspension is firm and corners well without excessive bouncing. The truck sits a little lower in the front due to the newer mono-leaf parallel leaf springs. The steering is a breeze with the updated steering box and power assist. The truck's brakes are in good working order and they do not pull even when braking heavily. All the glass in the truck is in good condition and is free of major cracks or chips except the drivers door glass which has two large vertical cracks. The truck rolls on 15" steel wheels with dog dish Ford hub caps and smooth beauty rings. BFG Radial T/As are at all four corners with P225 60R/15 in the front and P295 50R/15 out back. The tires look to be almost new in regards to tread life. Some other misc. details of note include, B&M floor shifter, custom steering wheel, chrome running boards, 9 inch rear end, newer rear shock, front steering stabilizer. The truck has all new wiring installed with a high dollar Ron Francis kit. Turn signals, headlights, taillights, brake lights, and courtesy lights are in working order.Note: the truck's heater, horn, and windshield wipers are not in working order. Overall, this classic truck runs and drives well and is in presentable condition. Please view the numerous pictures we have provided so you can get an idea of its condition.
