I am selling a 2002 Volkswagon Golf. The car is running, but does need work. It has 200,000 miles and is burning oil. It has been parked for a few months. New battery two days ago. The tires are good, breaks etc may need attention. The interior is fair. There is no major damage just the carpet is worn down. No big tears - one burn hole in back seat. The passenger seat doesn't move has a broken cable. The glove box does not stay up - there is a broken part. The hatch will only open with the key. The body is ok. There are no big dents - a few door dings and paint marks. There are two chips on the hood. I have had the car for 6 years. No accidents - but it did go in the ditch in the winter and had a fender replaced. This would be a great parts car or a car to fix and drive. Has the 2.0 liter engine. It is automatic and the transmission is fine. The engine light is on and has been on for quite a while. The airbag light is also on - air bags have never been set off - not sure why. One rim is broken. All the lights - horn basic stuff works fine. THIS CAR IS A LEMON - IT HAS A LEMON TITLE. I HAD THE CAR FOR 6 YEARS AND HAD NO IDEA THERE WAS ANYTHING ON THE TITLE TILL I LISTED IT ON EBAY. I BOUGHT IT FROM A DEALERSHIP. IT ALSO SAYS THAT THERE WAS AN ACCIDENT WITH ANOTHER CAR IN 07 - THAT IS WHEN IT WENT IN THE DITCH AND THERE WAS NO OTHER CAR INVOLVED. I REALLY HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THE LEMON CLAIM IS ABOUT. I have lots of pictures and can send you a movie clip of the car running. I will answer any questions and am being honest about the condition.
