Due to a non-paying bidder that jerked me around for weeks with excuses and lies I am having to relist this car, PLEASE, only bid if you intend to follow thru, eBay is not a game. That being said, lets try this again....... This is our 1978 FIAT SPYDER CONVERTIBLE, this Fiat runs and drives well and with the exception of one same color repaint it is the factory original condition. Please read all details and ask any questions BEFORE bidding. This auction has NO RESERVE, high bid takes it home. If winning bidder is in Southern California, I can assist with delivery, I also deliver to the shipping terminals in the Los Angeles area on a weekly basis. I do have a few bidder requirements at the bottom of the page, please read them and the entire listing BEFORE placing your bid. Also, I plan on selling many of the cars in my collection this year, so it will benefit other collectors and those of you that already know me and what I have to continue watching my listings! Please take the time to view the detailed pictures, I am very thorough when shooting and describing a vehicle and make every effort to catch as much detail as possible! DETAILS: Cosmetically, the body of this Fiat is complete and very straight with the exception of the palm size dent on the hood and a dime size "ding" on the 1/4 panel (see pics). Both "FIAT" emblems are missing from the trunk and hood. This car has been stored indoors and there are no rust concerns at all. The floors and undercarriage are very solid and very clean. All glass is clean and clear. The removable hardtop is in excellent condition but all of the weatherstrip around the hardtop will need replaced, it has dried out. The black soft top is near new and in excellent condition with only the typical "yellowing" on the back plastic window. The factory color on this Fiat is red and has been repainted once. This car has never been in an accident. Exterior paint does have fading, chips and scratches. Under hood/trunk is factory perfect. I also have some extra parts that will be inside the trunk for buyer. The interior is all there and complete, the drivers seat will need recovered and the other seats could use a cleaning and conditioning but are well above average condition for the year. Everything works as it should, all lights, gauges, turn signals etc. Mechanically, this Spyder has the original engine, still running great and nothing has been touched under the hood, it is all complete and original. I would still do a full service as it has been stored for a few years. This Fiat starts right up without hesitation, trans and clutch shift well and brakes work fine. I would not have an issue driving this car anywhere. Tires are about 85% tread. I have not been able to locate the 4th matching wheel, the spare was put on a few years back in storage. I have in hand the clean and clear California title/ownership certificate on this Spyder. If the car stays registered here in California it will be about 230 to bring the registration current. I will continue to have the car stored inside until buyer arrives or we deliver it. We are located in Moreno Valley, California 92551 (Southern California) near March Air Base.
