This is a 95% complete 61 Ford Galaxie Sunliner Convertible. It has minimal rust for its age. The RH quarter panel needs some repair, and could be fixed with a patch panel around the wheel opening. The LH quarter is very straight and needs 2 small patches near the wheel opening. The doors, rockers and front clip are very solid. The grille, bumpers fenders and hood need to be bolted to the car and aligned. The body appears to have most of its original turquoise paint. The floor pans are very good with only 2 small areas requiring patching. There is an area on the transmission tunnel that was cut by someone and would need a patch also. The top frame looks very good and straight with no appearant rusted out areas. The trunk floor has several perforated areas and should be spray welded or it could be fixed with por 15. The stainless trim is off the car, but I believe it is mostly present. Both bumpers are present. I bought the car from the owners son and he said the engine had been rebuilt and it is a T-Bird 390. Looking at the engine, this statement appears correct (it is clean) ,but I do not have reciepts for the rebuild. Given that, I cannot guarantee that it has been rebuilt, only that it is clean and looks rebuilt. There are many parts in boxes and I beleive the car is mostly there, 95% is probably a good guess. There are some extra parts included. I have a clear California title. It is on NON-OP. I have several NOS parts in Ford boxes that I will include with the car. (see pictures). Motor is not running, needs electrical hookup and some parts installed, but car rolls and steers. This is a VERY HARD car to find complete and restorable and not a rust bucket. Very low reserve.
