Vehicle Detail
OK Land cruiser enthusiast and collectors here is your chance to own TWO Land cruisers! I'm offering for sale my two Land Cruisers to make room for a growing family. So, I'll start off first with the FJ40: 1977 Toyota FJ40 Land cruiser with the FACTORY P.T.O. (Power Take Off) WINCH. I bought it off the second owner who had owned it from 1982 till 2012. It still has the original decal from the dealer "Sandy Sansing Toyota" on the back of the ambulance door. The truck is bone stock. NO modifications of any kind besides the wheels have been done to this truck. The gentlemen I bought it off of informed me he had NEVER taken the roof off because of the over-head console the original owner installed on the truck. 35 YEARS and never has had the roof off! The truck Runs and drives but I would recommend that the truck be gone over before taking it out for everyday use. The over-head console you see in the pictures has been there since 1977 and I couldn't bear to take them off because its so nostalgic its hard to imagine it out of the truck. The truck does has some rust near where the roof meets the cab of the truck by the ambulance door on the passenger side and two quarter sized holes near the driver seat under the floor mat. It even still has the FACTORY Toyota white exterior decals on it! The only thing I have done to the truck is rebuild the carb and that's it. I do have the air cleaner cover and a lot of other parts to go with it that I acquired from the previous owner. The P.T.O. Winch does work and is hooked up. It has the factory Toyota floor mats and stickers on the inside of the truck. The driver seat is a little torn up but has had those seat covers on it since the early 1990's. The jump seats are in good condition with a slight tear on the rear driver. Truly a UNIQUE and hard to find truck that has been unmolested. NO amateur restorations or refinishing of any kind. It is a solid platform for a restoration or fix the little things and drive as is. The truck goes through all gears and the speedometer and other gauges work like they should. It even has the original Toyota alternator and set of original Toyota Motor Keys for both the ignition and ambulance door. 1989 Toyota FJ62: I use this truck as my Daily Driver and it is in great condition. It runs and drives straight with no hiccups at highway speeds or around town. The interior is in great condition and I would give it a 7 out of 10. The driver seat is a little worn from going in and out of for the past two decades but still seats good. The headliner has a small rip in it but otherwise is in great condition. The dash has two cracks in it but is in otherwise great condition. The trucks exterior is in good condition with no major rusting issues. The motor has been tuned up with new plugs, wires, thermostat, belts, etc. to keep it reliable for me as a daily driver. The A/C works but looses its charge in about a week. Hasn't bothered me much because I live only 2 miles from my work. All lights, horns, chimes work great in the truck and it is a blast to drive. It has a Old Man Emu Dakar series lift on it with 16 aftermarket rims. I do have the factory Toyota 15 inch wheels with center caps that will go with the sale. The truck currently has 137XXX miles on it and will last a long time into the future. TWO very hard to find Land Cruisers for one price. I am located in WINTER PARK, FL 32792, and I am available for questions or emails anytime. I strive my best to describe these two trucks but please ask any questions or request any pictures from me to help you bid accordingly. This is most likely a once in a lifetime deal for a VERY RARE optioned US 1977 Toyota Land cruiser in all original condition and a great condition 1989 Toyota Land cruiser. One last note: NO, I will not split the trucks up. THIS IS A PACKAGE DEAL. DO NOT ask me what my reserve is and please DO NOT expect me to end the auction early because "You'll be here in the morning". I WILL NOT part out any of the two trucks. I am going to be uploading more pictures in the next two days, so please if there are any special requests, don't hesitate to let me know. I will cancel all bids from bidders who have ZERO (0) feedback UNLESS they contact me. Buyer must arrange shipping and handling.
