Hello, up for bid is a black, Canadian model 1993 Acura Integra GS-R. If you're viewing this listing, you may already know how rare these cars are. This particular car belonged to my uncle and was driven mainly to and from Vancouver and Chilliwack BC. The car was purchased in 1997 and it has been very well maintained over the years, is completely original, and has never been modified. My uncle has decided to finally sell the GS-R as he has bought a new Acura RL. Everything on the car still works just like it should including the Air Conditioning. Recent work includes a timing belt and water pump (May of this year, receipts available), rear trailing arm bushings, distributor cap and cv boots. The original polished wheels still shine like new and have never been hit into any curbs. The car has not been smoked in. The drivetrain on the car is superb. The original 1.7L engine with close ratio transmission is as smooth as butter and has never been abused. Just to be clear, the engine does NOT burn oil, does NOT smoke and the transmission does NOT grind. The car has 345,781 kms (216,113 mi) but you would never know it. The car also currently holds a BC AirCare valid until March of 2013. The interior is in very good condition as well. There are no rips, tears, or stains degrading the seats whatsoever. All of the original floor mats are still in the car and even the radio has never been tampered with. The car does have some bumps and bruises as it is now nearly 20 years old, however it is still great for the year and has enjoyed a west coast climate that is conducive to auto-longevity. I have tried to describe the imperfections to the best of my ability: The body has a few areas with oxidization, but nothing serious or structural in nature whatsoever. I have taken pictures of theses areas so you can see for yourself. The right rear quarter panel scraped a pillar in a parking garage 2 years ago chipping some of the paint from the wheel well edge. As you can see in the pictures, the exposed metal has since caused surface rust within the scrapes. As you can see in the pictures the original fender seals are still in place around the rear wheel wells and the body is still completely solid. There has not been any prior body work done on the car. The left rear side of the car has two surface spots to the right of the plastic moulding (see pics), but is otherwise mint around the entire wheel well also. The front left corner of the hood has a dent. (see pics). The underside of the car is in superb shape, typical of British Columbia vehicles. The original undercoat is in great shape. The exhaust is an OEM-like replacement and has no leaks or issues. The paint still shines up very nice on the car, only showing some clear coat peel behind the sunroof (see pics). Overall the car is in great original condition and I am confident the winning bidder will thoroughly appreciate this genuine Acura automobile.
