This is a rust free, 3 owner, 1973 Mach 1. I found this car in a barn after sitting for 8 years. H code 351 Cleveland that has been rebuilt and upgraded to a Holley 4 barrel carb, Edelbrock intake, cam, and headers. Has A/C but belt was not on it so I don't know if it works. FMX automatic transmission was replaced by a professionally rebuilt Toploader 4 speed manual trans with Hurst shifter and a new clutch. I have the numbers matching FMX and it will come with the sale. This is not a show car but a complete high end, driver condition car that I drive to work a couple days a week.(30 miles round trip). Interior is in awesome condition with custom black and gray cloth inserts in the seats. There are three small separations in the passenger seat (see pics). Everything in the interior has been pulled and cleaned, replaced, or painted back to original. New Grant GT steering wheel. Everything works except temp guage (I have not tried to fix). I could not find replacement windshield pillar post pieces so they have some cracks in the plastic. Needs headliner. Paint is fair, still shiney, and has new Mach 1 stripes all around. There are a few small chips, door dings, and a nickel sized chip on trunk lid (see pic). Second owner painted the car yellow, original color was medium blue metallic. Brand new Magnum 500 wheels (14x7 front, 14x8 rear) on tires with 50% tread. Exhaust is tight and sounds awesome with new chrome tips. Floor pans and undercarriage are rust free. Sale comes with original FMX trans, steering wheel, dogdish hub caps, and console. I have invested $4,000 in the last few months. This car is perfect for a daily driver or complete restoration.
