Up for bid is a rare lady with a low reserve- you don't see reliable true survivors like this anymore! 1971 Type III Squareback 1776cc TURBO custom engine built by Kurt Mezger of Vintage Performance and Pro Street Transmission built by Jim Kaforski of Der Transaxle - this car is a reliable starter, very clean, rust free and she purrs like a kitten!!Engine includes turbo system built in 2006, that is 100% hidden in the factory engine compartment. The odometer does not work anymore, the actual miles on the new engine is approximately 37224. Runs on 93 octane pump gas, gets 20 MPH on the HWY. The engine is a mild low boost, reliable street performance motor, excellent for cruising or daily commuting. You'll have no problems driving in the left lane on the highways, it's got the pep to keep up with all forms of traffic. The body, chassis, & interior are all very clean, in excellent condition, rust free, garage kept, all trim, seals, lights, gauges, switches, wipers, etc. are present & in good working condition. Interior upholstery & dash are free from cracks or tears.
