RARE 1949 Ford F-1 Pickup Truck This auction is for a RARE 1949 Ford F-1 Pickup Truck. Running Condition! This vintage truck is 99% complete and all original. However, It has been changed over from a 6 volt to a 12 volt system. Also it has been updated with all new metal brake lines and brakes. It has 53,227 original miles. Flathead V8 Engine. Clear Open Title. The truck has been in the barn on our family farm for the past 40 years. Engine is running. I just drove it 100 miles last week to my home without any trouble. I put some shine on the tires and took these photos. Please view all photos for condition details. I tried to include photos of any damage on the body. I know it will need the tires replaced due to their age. Also, the glass in the door windows will need replacement on both sides. I do have the front bumper for the truck (not shown in photos). The heater fan still comes on as well. Overall this truck is the perfect starting point for a restoration. This a really cool truck you don't see everyday. Check out the NADA on this truck.
