Vehicle Detail
For sale is my extremely nice, low mileage, military owned 2004 Mazda RX-8. Let me start by saying that this car is FULLY LOADED, and then some! That includes factory Navigation, leather seats, heated seats, homelink auto-dimming mirror, Bose sound system, sunroof, HID lights, ect. If there's something you think I missed, message me and I'll let you know if it's there. Furthermore, there are a couple extra things that you won't see on a stock RX8: -Aftermarket Pioneer Navigation, ipod/iphone, cd player with bluetooth! Watch my video below for more details, but you have no excuse getting lost in this car with both satellite and DVD based Navigation. Also note that it works with the factory steering wheel controls AND Bose amp. This unit was installed properly! -Switchblade keyless entry, not available on 2004 RX-8s, completely functional. - 25% tint all around. Now for a few mechanical details: For starters, this is the 6 speed version, which in my opinion is the only one worth getting. The auto is underpowered and boring. Oil changes have been done every 3,000 miles, and checked roughly every 500 miles. I only purchased it a couple years ago with half the mileage, and I drove it San Francisco and back with ease. Recent work includes new plugs and wires less than six months old, and I just had the troublesome coils replaced a couple days ago. ($500 service). Furthermore, one of the biggest complaints about RX-8's is it's horrible A/C system. It's either weak, or just simply malfunctioning all together. Two things have been done to remedy this. First is the controls have had their solder joints reinforced, which is the number one cause of temp control problems. Furthermore, the A/C lines under the hood were insulated over a year ago, which makes a HUGE difference. Tinted windows also help quite a bit. So as the rest of the RX-8 community suffers, you'll be nice and cool this summer. Now this is an 8 year old car, so you can expect to find the usual tiny marks here and there, but I challenge you to find them. This car is CLEAN. I did have the Driver side fender repainted due to some unsightly scratches, I just couldn't stand looking at them anymore. That should be about everything. I wanted to be COMPLETELY transparent about this car, no hidden surprises, and I am convinced that this car will give you the best bang for your buck if you're looking for a RX8. This is the best one on eBay, no doubt! As with everything, this car is being sold AS IS, and I have the right to end the auction early if I sell it locally. Feel free to check out my video before, and message me anytime with any questions you may have. Good luck!!
