Up for sale is my 1950 Mercury Custom. I purchased the car in 2008 from big dicks muscle cars in Florida. I had recently totaled my 50 Lincoln and wanted something to drive right away. The car was traded to them on a restored muscle car. The dealer then sold it to a casino where it was the jackpot and displayed in the entrance. An older lady won the car and wanted the cash. She contacted big dicks again since their name was on it and they bought it back. I am now getting ready to complete my 1949 mercury and don’t really need two of them. I have a two-inch binder of everything that has been done to the car when it was redone and another big binder with build pics including everyone who did the work and their phone numbers. There has been well over $90k invested in this car and all the work was done professionally. I love the car and it is a blast to drive. I have a 2 year old son and it is the perfect family car to and from shows. We have had it to Columbus Ohio a number of times. Indianapolis and Joliet goodguys. James Dean and ducktail. We take it everywhere and it’s like driving a newer car. It has a 1991 350 Chevy tpi fuel injected engine backed by a 700r4 trans and a 10 bolt rear out of a 70s nova. Aluminum radiator, power steering, power brakes, power windows, everything is shaved. MP disc brakes front and rear, MP master cylinder and booster in correct spot under floor. 5 brand new Coker silvertowns on chromed smoothies. Vintage Air Ac works well. In dash flip dvd/cd touch screen, lokar shifter and emergency brake system. March Performance pulleys. Street and Performance TPI wiring harness. Fatman front end and jamco rear with 3” lowering. Seat belts and plenty of room for a car seat and 4-5 adults. Tan interior. Electric fan never lets it get hot. All the chrome looks great. Brand new blue top optima battery. This spring I put in new plugs, fuel regulator, and all 8 brand new injectors. Auto meter gauges and side pipes sound awesome. All accessories, brackets, and pedals chrome or polished aluminum. There are some subtle body mods like the louvered hood, dummy spots, windows are all 1 piece, back windows were filled. The flames are as smooth as can be and personally one of my favorites. This car has never stranded me or let me down. If you want to drive 90 mph down the interstate with the ac on, no problem. This car was one of my babies for the last three years. I spared no expense on this one if it needed it or I wanted it was done. Gene Winfield signed the dash at the road rockets rumble. The only reason im selling it is to finish up my 1949 mercury and it will be chopped. Please no bs, I have perfect feedback and want to keep it that way. The car is titled in my dealership so 7% tax must be collected. No other fees . It is a 4 dr. much cooler than only two. This car gets driven a lot so there are a few chips here and there. Oil and speedo have never worked. I may get those checked out, though its never bothered me. If you are interested come check it out and make me an offer.
