Vehicle Detail
This truck is in good shape and is great for cruising to the beach but does have some of the issues you'd expect from a vehicle of this age (ie cracked dash, some chipped paint, very minor rust ((there is one other spot on the hood I forgot to get a pic of that is a little smaller than a dime)), and the convertible top will need to be replaced before too long). Also, the passenger-side window leaks a bit if the wind is just right. It does need a little work beyond the cosmetic. The rear springs need to be replaced, the throw-out bearing is noisy during the colder months, and the A/C does not work (though I haven't missed it, it is a convertible after all). There is also a ding on the driver side front quarter panel. I don't know if it's the kind of thing that can be hammered out but a new panel (primed) runs about $45 online and I have a replacement headlight bezel which I will include with the sale. I did have to replace the engine last year. I got the replacement from craigslist. I was told it is out of a Dakota used at a local refinery for transporting equipment around the refinery and supposedly had about 55K miles on it. I can't verify that but it does run great and I haven't had any issues since it was installed (about 4k miles put on it since install).
