For your consideration a restorable 1969 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia complete. The body is in good condition but will require a complete paint/rust removal for a excellent paint surface. It has some rust issues in the areas that normally are affected these are detailed in the images. There was surface rust in areas on the body that were painted over by the previous owner as he had wanted to restore it. Floor pan is in good condition with the exception of the rear passenger seat/battery box area, (check the images). The car comes complete with a rebuildable 1600 single port engine that was running and turns freely but I would factor in a complete rebuild on the engine. The tranny is in good shape all forward gears work including reverse. Majority of the electrical worked, i.e. turn signals, headlights, (low beam driver side out), needs brakes, master cylinder and wheel cylinders. Wheels are in decent shape and tires hold air but would require replacements to be road worthy. As mentioned, the body is solid and would make an excellent restorable project GHIA as not much in the way of metal replacement is required. The nose which is most often a major concern on the Ghias is in very good shape, I tried to capture images detailing that area. The drivers window regulator needs replacing. The gas tank was replaced due to rust. Email with additional questions. I need this vehicle sold as to make room for several others so there is no reserve with a low opening bid.
