Vehicle Detail
I've owned this Bronco since 1989, my everyday vehicle until 2001 and always garaged. It's probably one of the highest mileage original paint uncut Broncos around, proud to say almost 300,000 miles, a testament to this fundamentally strong design. The Ranger trim has matching green carpets, rear seats(have the original fronts but quite worn out), side panels, power steering, AC(there's a slow leak and the freon has leaked out, could be converted to new refrigerant--the unit actually works well up to 90 degree outside temp). The C 4 trans has been rebuilt twice, leaks though. There's a small leaking in the 9 inch rear diff., also a small leaking from the engine. There's double shocks on the front, Warn winch. I put in a new auxiliary tank last year. The rear tank gas line has cracked and needs replacing, so aux tank only unfortunately. There's rust on the front rain gutters, surface rust on the top. A rod went through the block of the original engine in 1997 and I replaced it with a Mustang 5.0 roller engine from Summit. The antenna snapped off when I was trying to remove it. The original tire jack is there next to the master cylinder. I never planned to sell this but I'm moving back to Hawaii and the salt air is just too hard on older vehicles. The Bronco does run very well. It's a friendly color combination--I used to live in Malibu and often I'd come back to it and parked next would be a Lambo or Ferrari and people would be checking out this Bronco. Please contact me for more information--Thanks On Jun-17-12 at 09:41:14 PDT, seller added the following information: There's no CA smog. On Jun-17-12 at 14:08:32 PDT, seller added the following information: There's a Trac Lock diff in the back and TrueTrac on the front. There's a rust through the driver's side front floor panel by the parking break lever, everything else appears to be surface rust. I recommend taking a look, I have a creeper and a clean garage floor.
