This is a meticulously cleaned & maintained 1999 Firebird Formula Ram-Air LS-1 6-speed with T-tops and Chrome 17"/18" Rims (this is the much rarer Formula model, which means all of the go-fast goodies, with much sleaker body trim than the over-the-top and more common Trans-Am, IMHO) She is kept covered in a garage year round, and kept clean inside and out, topside and underneath. (I am a 53 year old classic car restorer/mechanic, and admitted OCD clean freak when it comes to my cars) I bought my baby in May 2004 with only 28500 miles on it, from the second owner, who had not driven it much, or owned for very long. It has never been raced, never seen snow, and never leaves my garage if it's raining. It is mostly stock, never been crashed, and still smells of new leather inside. I will try to list it's stock options, then it's later upgrades. Factory Stock: LS-1, 6-speed, 3:42 limited-slip diff, Monsoon 10 speaker stereo w/ steering wheel controls, leather steering wheel & shifter, Remote Keyless Entry, Cold A/C Added Stock Options: Leather interior w/ power adjust & power lumbar for both front seats, 12 disc CD changer (works with stock steering wheel controls), larger (1.25") WS-6 front anti-sway bar w/ PolyGraphite bushings, new clutch 2006 Aftermarket Upgrades: MagnaFlow cat-back exhaust (sounds incredible!!!), KYB shocks/struts on Eibach Pro-Kit springs (lowers car 1 1/2, WAY better cornering), Suncoast Creations Raptor hood with Ram-Air kit and K&N filter (and rear heat extractors), Hypertech Tuning w/ 160degree T-stat (Hypertech programmer with stock tune saved in it included), SLP high-flow MAF w/ coolant bybass, SLP smooth intake bellows, NGK V-power spark plugs, SLP short-throw shifter, Summit aluminium differential support cover, 20% front / 15% rear window tint (T-tops tinted w/ suncontrol film), Auto VentShade taillight covers, license plate covers, smoked side markers, built in radar / laser detector, chrome ZR1 style rims: 17x9.5 front / 18x10.5 rear with Goodyear F1 Supercar tires 265/40/17 and 295/35/18. all original "take-off" parts are available Basically I've done everything I could think of to "supertune" this car while keeping it stock internally. While this car does look fast, it's a sleeper, because at around 400HP (seat-of-the-pants estimate) it is what I call "STUPID-FAST", corners like it's on rails, and still rather stealthy in it's blacked-out theme. The only defects are some stone chips on the front bumper, a few spider-cracks in the paint on the hood, and small bubbles on the top sail panel (I'm being extremely critical here). But you will NOT be disappointed by the beauty, speed, handling, cleanliness, and sounds & smell of this street-rocket!!! only unemployment forces my sale. I've owned more than 75 cars in my life, many great Muscle Cars, but this one out performs them all, and gets 26 mpg too!!!!
