1971 Volkswagon Beetle. Very nice older restoration, which still looks great. The gentleman who owend this car passed away and his wife said it was his baby. We believe the bug came from North Carolina and was restored years ago. She did not remember specifics, but the car was originally red. The bug starts right up and runs and drives excellent. The body looks very nice with no visible rust or body damage. The running boards toward the rear do appear soft, however. The motor sounds great and runs strong. We are sure it's been rebuilt, but don't have specifics. The odometer reads about 57000, but we do not no how many miles are actually on the car. The glass is nice and the rubber, seals appear to have been replaced, as well. It has the 3 Speed auto-clutch, which works perfectly. The car cruises 60 mph just fine. The interior is nice but not perfect. The drivers seat bottom has a seam coming loose, and the floor could use new mats. The headliner has wrinkles by the back window but overall interior is presentable. This would be a great summer cruiser, and turns heads and gets thumbs up when we drive it. This car would get you a trophy at local car shows, and gets great gas mileage to boot. Please email questions, and I will give you an honest answer. Good luck bidding!
