1959 Triumph TR3 - Restoration Candidate (she needs a paint job) only a handful of these cars are left and they are getting rarer and more desirable each year. Runs & Drives Excellent, starts right up and doesn't smoke. Extensive service records dating back to the 1960's including receipts for complete rebuild of engine and transmission. The brakes, clutch slave and master cylinders were replaced last winter and a new battery was installed. The interior of this car is in very good condition, the front and back seats are clean with no rips or tears and the dash is clean with no fading or cuts in the vinyl. A convertible top and tonneau are included and in good condition with no rips or tears. The body is decent but needs paint, some body work and some new chrome. Among a number of paint chips, there is also some rust starting on the car, the most noticeable is the lower portion of the front right and left fenders. The fenders could be repaired. I can include 2 additional front fenders that are in good condition at the close of the auction if the high bidder chooses to take them. The windscreen is setting in place and is cracked, it will need to be installed properly with new gaskets and the glass replaced. The hood opens and closes as it should but the dutz fasteners that secure it in place will need to be replaced. The frame is straight with no rust holes, evidence of accidents or welded repairs. The car is sold as is. This car is 53 years old and although it is a great candidate for restoration, it is not perfect, If you would like to have the car inspected, I can make it available within 24 hours, it's located in Minneapolis, MN.
