1979 Triumph Spitfire 1500 Only 46k miles! I inherited a 1979 Triumph Spitfire from my uncle about 8 years ago. He bought the car brand new in 1979 and kept it in his garage from day one. I have driven the car to work a few times, but I am not into antique cars. I have not driven the car in a couple of years. I had to make space in my garage for other toys, so the car has been outside for a couple of years, which has cause some sun fading and dried out the tires, but otherwise, the car is in fine condition. No major dents or damage. See pictures. I am not able to start the car. It turns and sometimes it will start, but does not stay running. Again, I am not into antique cars, so I don’t really know how or care to fix it. Here is some information on the car: * 46,823 original miles * 4 Speed Transmissions with OD * Racing Green color * Convertible * Electronic cut-off security systems I also have a factory HARDTOP in the same “racing green” color, as well as the soft cover that goes over the rest of the car while being driven with the top down. Both of these are stored inside the house, and both are included in the price. The car is also being offered for sale locally, so I reserve the right to cancel this auction before it closes.
