up for auction is my 1997 f 250 powerstroke . she has 196000 miles on her and if you know about the 7.3, shes barely broken in. i am an ase certified master diesel tech so i do all of my own work and maintenance. the body has the usual minor dents and scratches butt for her age she looks great , the interior has no rips or tears the center console has a broken piece , the rear speaker grilles do not match they are gray,, its all i could find . the dash is not cracked at all and every thing works as it should, ac is ice cold. heat is very hot,i am anal about squeeks and rattles , so this truck makes no kind of squeek or rattle no matter how rough the road you are on. i instaled a new pioneer stereo with bluetooth and four new kicker speakers , i also gutted the interior and did tons of dyna mat sound deadening . so she rides smooth and quiet. it has a new transmission with a new cconverter about 20k miles ago, it shifts strong no slop at all. the u joints have been replaced and also i went through the rear end and replaced the pinion and axle bearings last summer . nothing was wrong wuith them i just get bored and start fixing things. the tires are 10 ply load range e with about 85% of the tread left , the spare is also in good shape . i make it a point to remove the spare and use antiseize on the carrier bolts about once a year so you will never get stuck with a rusted in spare, ok as for the engine i have, it has a ts performance 6 position chip witch is 1 stock,2 high idle great for warming it up) 3. 50 hp 4. 75 hp 5. 100 6, 140. i keep it at 50 horse and the truck gets 17mpg on the money. the glow plugs are new as is the relay . i have them set up so you can use the glow plugs manualy also . this truck will start in north dakota winters without ether or pluging it in. get in hold the button count to 15 and fire her up.. every time . the turbo is new with a high boost wicked wheel on the compressor side. i cant stress enough that this thing runs and drives like a dream,..no mechanical problems at all . the front suspension is tight with new ball joints and tie rods , a fresh alignment . you can take your hand off the wheel while going 75 and she doesnt drift at all.it is set up for a fifth wheel hitch and ill throw in the hitch with buy it now. it is wired in back for a bumper pull and also an outlet in the bed for a fifth wheel., brand new shocks , trans mount. im sure there are a ton of things im for getting so please feel free to ask, it also has new belt , tensioner and idler , brakes are new front and rear . no leaks anywhere On Jun-13-12 at 12:49:42 PDT, seller added the following information: sorry for not posting better pics , i work in the oilfield and havent gotten my stuff out of the truck or cleaned the inside yet. i will before i ship or you pick up . ill have the interior cleaned . as far as the driver seat i always use a seat cover on the driver side so i dont get the seat dirty. the truck doesent get used for work i have a company truck , just used for trips home to wyoming or to the store , i have a new one ton and i dont need two trucks , happy bidding On Jun-13-12 at 14:37:38 PDT, seller added the following information: there is ZERO rust on this truck underneath or on the body. no paint bubbling , the wheel wells and cab corners are in great shape. we dont use salt on the roads in wyoming where the truck spent most of its life. the transfer case works perfectly in high and low .the front axle u joints were replaced last year when i did ball joints. the oil pan gasket was replaced 40 k ago and the rear main seal was replaced 20 k ago when i did the transmission and converter . the only blemishes at all on this truck are purley cosmetic , and the rear seatbelt on the ps is missing in the back seat. i never had a reason to replace it as i dont use the seat back there too much. like i said mechanicaly this truck is in superb condition . it actualy rides smoother and quieter than my 02 f 350 . the keyless entry works , all the power windows and locks work great , the cruise control works great . .
